My name is Randy Dawson and I am the owner and sole woodworker of Plum Creek Works of Northern California. I’d like to tell you a little about the furniture I create. Each chair or barstool starts as native Black Oak found in the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range. I handpick quality pieces of oak for their natural features such as hints of red, check marks, unique curves and shape, patterns, and spotting. Each piece is then naturally air-cured and aged for one year or more.
